Little Ballerina
Sometimes I get a little bored singing songs like 'I've been working on the railroad,' 'Jesus wants me for a sunbeam' and 'Baa Baa black sheep.' This is when I get into all of Lucy's cute things and we play dress up. I am not so sure Lucy likes this game, but mommy loves it and loves to take paictures. Thanks to Debbie Miller, my good friend Beth's mom, Lucy has a beautiful new Ballerina tutu. A bit too big, but adorable all the same!
Look how pathetic she looks with her bottom lip sticking out...I love it!
As a side note, I just got off the phone from talking with my Grandma Quanstrom. She wanted me to post some new pictures of Lucy for her, hence this blog post. I was typing with Lucy in my lap and she was playing with a piece of paper, a pen and my phone. Well...she got really quiet all the sudden so I looked down at her. Her head was resting on my arm and she was asleep. I couldn't help but laugh which woke her up, but how cute is that? (By the way, she went right back to sleep and is now happily in dream land in the comfort of her crib. What a wonderful day!).

Tag...you're it!
I have seen several variations of these blogs, but my friend Beth tagged me so here I go…
A. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning.
B. Each player answers the questions about themselves.
C. At the end of the post, the player tags 3 people and posts their names, then goes to their blog and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they are tagged.
10 years ago I was:
In eighth grade thinking I was hot stuff (how naive)!
Some highlights of the year were:
Student body treasurer
Getting my first blonde weave…thanks grandma!
8th grade talent show with my friends…‘girls just want to have fun’ dance
5 things on my to do list today: Wednesday
1. Shower (believe it or not this is not an everyday occurrence with Lucy around)
2. Work at least 3 hours
3. Laundry (wash and fold)
4. Dinner ready at 5 (Tyler’s schedule is such that the time matters!)
5. Record (DVR) American Idol and watch it with Tyler when he gets home from work late tonight
Things I would do if I became a billionaire:
· Buy a house with cash—how fun would that be!
· Buy a new car for Tyler…I got a new one I love, Honda Pilot, but Tyler is stuck driving my old VW Golf.
· Fly to NY and then to Vegas’ new mall and stock up all of our wardrobes.
· Buy a private jet for my husband because I have never known someone who wants one so badly…he said he will buy one someday but this way he would get it earlierJ
· Build up a hospital and school in a deserving town in Africa. This would be where our family would go do service every year. We would invite our friends and family to join us to teach English and aid the hospital staff. We would get on Oprah for it (Being on Oprah for doing something great is one of my goals in life)!
· Save the rest because if you start off with this kind of lifestyle, you will expect the same in the future!
· And hopefully the billions keep coming!!!
3 of my bad habits:
1. Eating sweets!
2. Wanting everything perfect…this was reconfirmed this past weekend when we had my sister-in-law and a couple of her friends stay with us. One of them mentioned that I was OCD because I wanted everything clean all the time. She thought it odd that I went around cleaning up the whole time. I need to let loose every once in a while!
3. Correcting Tyler on how he holds, bathes, changes, and anything else he does with Lucy. What kind of mom/wife am I?
Places I've lived:

· Men’s Shoes salesman, Nordstrom
· Public Relations Intern for the School of Family Life, BYU

Something most people don't know about me:
I think I lead the perfect life… I am sealed forever to my wonderful and loving husband who is a dreamer and a planner just like me. I have an angel for a daughter, extended families that I absolutely adore, great girlfriends, and a great home with things to fill it that I happen to like. I was born into a wonderful faith and go to church with wonderful people. I live close to my sister who babysits willingly and is a great shopping companion. I have ways to make money from home so I can follow my mom’s great example and make raising Lucy my priority. I am not sure life could get any better!!! (actually I could get the last 6 lbs of baby weight off so I can look good when I go with my sweetheart to Hawaii in May!)

Valentines Day
Our Valentine’s day is always out done by the day before, Tyler's Birthday. But it is still a fun day and another excuse to celebrate our love for each other.
Lucy got a new outfit from Grandma Ane and it looks absolutely adorable on her if you ask me!
One of the gifts I got from my love was two dozen rozes which absolutely made my day!
We got a new Nordstrom catalog in the mail and to my joy Lucy loved it. Oh the fun we will have when she gets older! Right now she just sits in her stroller and enjoys the commotion around her when we shop. For the time being, this works for me!
And after we fed, bathed and put Lucy to bed it was finally time for the two of us to be together. We had a rather romantic dinner purchased from Costco while we watched a romantic comedy...it was PERFECT! Since we were blessed with Lucy, we have not had very many nights to just cuddle and watch a movie at home. The evening together was long overdue!

Birthday Celebration
February 13th, the day before the day of love is my Love's birthday. We got a babysitter, my sister Amy Kay, and enjoyed our time together. We had dinner at the Outback with some friends who all came back to our place for cake and laughs.
I have the most wonderful husband in the world who deserves a lot more than I bought him. I am the luckiest girl alive to have someone so perfectly custom made for her in every way. Tyler Loves me and is aware of me and my needs and who could ask for more? Plus, he helped produce one good lookin' baby!

Fifteen Minutes
For those of you who don't know, I am still working for Provo Craft. I quit my job right before Lucy was born and the same day was offered a semi-part-time job from home. Well...having a little five month old can make it hard to even do a few hours. This is where I thank the crayola marker that occupied Lucy for 15 minutes so I could sort of get something done.
I am finding that it is absolutely amazing what I can get done in a 10-15 minute period as a mom. Some days I can get laundry going, dinner started and check my email all while watching Oprah thanks to random things in our house that entertain my easily entertained little girl.
