When I was pregnant I had a few good friends at work that literally felt my pain-they were prego too. Loraleigh had Lukas in November, two months after me and Kristen had Scout just a couple of weeks ago. Our co-worker Kim is due in May and we are working on Kassie's husband so she can follow suit :). I suppose this is what happens when you are young and live in Provo, the place babies are made! We would all spend probably more time than we should have discussing different things that were happening to our bodies and the latest news the doctors gave us. Loraleigh moved to St. George on Lucy's due date so we never got to see each others final products until a couple of weeks ago when she was up in the area. Needless to say it was so fun to sit down and catch up with each others lives. Kristen was actually supposed to meet up with us but she decided to go into labor that afternoon-go figure!

Happy 30th Anniversary
Lucy couldn't forget to wish her Grandma and Grandpa Hansen a Happy Anniversary! 30 years, WOW! She is so happy you are more in love now than the day you got married. She also expressed to her mom that she is especially happy you had such a perfect daughter-Kelsey!Lucy didn't know what to get you so she decided to have her mommy do a photo shoot because she knows how much you LOVE pictures of her. So here it is...

MARCH UPDATE
Yesterday, Thursday the 13th, was Lucy's 1/2 birthday! I was excited because we got to stray from our normal songs to birthday songs. I can’t believe she is six months old already! I meant to take a picture when she was all dressed up, but this is what I got before bed. If you look closely you can see her first tooth that sprang up a couple of weeks ago. The second is just days away!
Lucy has decided that she no longer likes to be in one place. I put her in her crib one way and she never wakes up the same, but always wakes up happy!
I feel like I have neglected my daughter in this picture. I gave her some toys to play with while I did the dishes after dinner. Well, the dishes turned into doing the laundry and I suppose she got tired of waiting for me. Oops...
Lucy started solid foods this week. It has been five days now and she is only just now starting to get the hang of it. The main problem with eating food as opposed to drinking a bottle is she would rather play with the food with her hands than eat it. I wish she could just drink her breakfast, lunch and dinner for the rest of her life. I think my job would be a whole lot easier!

All About Lucy...
I was thinking about the fact that our blog is basically ‘everything Lucy.’ I was going to try not to do that but have failed miserably! I think I have figured out why too. When you have a baby she becomes the center of your life. You eat, play, and sleep on her time, not your own. So here is my official apology for all future blogs starring Lucy, who you have to admit is cute so you don’t mind looking at so many pictures of her anyway!
Above is a picture of Tyler and me pre-Lucy. We loved life then and love it even more as the days go by. We are so blessed to have each other. I am the luckiest girl in the world to call him mine! He is my best friend, the one person I can’t live without. And hey, he helped me create one beautiful baby, how can I complain about that?!!!

Baby Giggles
Lucy doesn't laugh very much, especially for me. But I was changing her Tuesday night and she was full of giggles. This video is the tail end of the laughing we caught on camera. It is also unedited so there is some random footage beforehand and it goes on after she finishes laughing. I just learned how to put the video on my computer so we are doing one step at a time.
I am basically putting the video on for my mom and grandparents to view, they have been asking. Putting video of Lucy on out blog on a frequent basis was one of the terms of agreement for the video camera for Christmas. Here you go mom...
