Santa's Little Helper

Here is Lucy seeing Santa for the very first time. It was actually the third attempt we made in that adorable red dress. The first, Santa was so ugly I couldn't bare to put my little baby on his lap. The second time we never made it out of the house, I
can' t remember why that was. Anyway, this time I lured Tyler to a movie at the mall and it just so happens that the Santa we wanted to see was at the same mall, go figure. Tyler was a great sport!

Lucy was so happy and smiley as we waited in the long line. However, as you can tell by the picture, smiles will only last so long on a 3-month-old . She may be saying "who in the heck is this man?" but as her mother who subjected her to such torture, I think she looks cute!

Our little November Vacation

We joined Tyler's brother Michael and his family in Driggs, Idaho- just outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The five of them were there for the week prior, but our trips overlapped for two days. We stayed for another 3 days in order to just relax and have fun together as a little family.

Here is my sweet little Lucy after playing "The Princess Game" with her cousins. The object of the game was to collect all 5 objects which would make you a princess. The prize for winning was to marry the prince--we were lacking eligible princes, but Heather or Tyler seemed to satisfy the little girls.
Below Lucy has the wristlet, wand and wings. She is still missing her tiara and skirt. And out of the who knows how many times we played the game, she never did win.

Here Jessica is only missing her wand.

Lucy Ann

Lucy was born on September 13th at 7:19 p.m. She was 20 1/2 inches and weighed 8 lbs. and 10 oz. I couldn't have done it without Tyler's support, I was given all the ice chips a woman could ever want! I am not an expert at child birth, but I am going to say that it was a little tough. Good thing she was worth it!

I've Decided to Conform

I am not one to be "in" on the newest internet attractions. I got through middle school without IMing (instant messaging), high school without being a part of any chat rooms, no matter their innocence, and I made it through college without having a My Space or facebook page. But apparently I am going to give in this time and create a blog page. I have had too many 'long lost' friends get after me for not having my wedding pictures, or even better, pictures of our little girl Lucy on the internet. Beth Curtis (Miller) even admitted to making Tyler one of her facebook friends so she could take a small peek at my life.

Sooo...now that I am only working a small number of hours for Provo Craft at home as the Royalty Coordinator, and Lucy is getting on a regular sleeping schedule, I thought I would keep in touch with the world by starting a blog.

Enjoy!
